What is the 549 Family Foundation?
The Foundation is a non-profit organization established to help enhance the opportunities for the students of District 549. (Perham-Dent Schools) The 549 Family Foundation goal is to raise money through yearly memberships, fund raising events, annual giving , and other various ways. The Foundation also serves as a information, communication source for the alumni and friends of District 549.

Membership- Everyone can become, and are encouraged to become a member of the Foundation. Alumni and friends can become a yearly member for $25.00 (renewable yearly) or become a lifetime member for $1000.00. (may pay in 4 years at $250 per year or at one time, and includes your spouse) For information on membership contact the 549 FF office at 218-347-0549, e-mail dschroeder@perham.k12.mn.us or click here.

Golf Tournament- The 2nd annual 549 FF Golf Tourney is set for July 19, 2003. Brian Mort is the chairperson and can be reached at bmort@arvig.com You can also go to the web site for more information.

Web Site- To check out the 549 FF web site, go to www.549family.com to view the latest activities of the Foundation. Sue Eickschen ('86) and Joel Bergland of Digital Jam, Perham, where very instrumental in getting the site up and running. Soon we will have information for PHS classes and reunion information available at the site along with the rest. Reunion info for web site send to suze@arvig.com

How to give and be a part of the 549 Family Foundation- Anyone can give to the Foundation by contacting the Foundation office. Ways to give include yearly memberships, annual giving, supporting Foundation events, memorials, planned giving, endowment, securities, trusts, and memorials.

Class Challenge: The goal of the Foundation in 2003 is to raise $2500 from each class from PHS. Class awards will be presented to the class with the highest total of money donated, and also the class with the highest percentage of giving will be rewarded. Please show your pride in your class and District 549 and give to your class challenge. All money that you give will count towards your classes total with the exception of events.
