After graduation I ran and operated a greenhouse business out of Dent, MN. I also worked full time at West Central Turkeys in Pelican Rapids for 4 years. In 1993 I no longer did the greenhouse and was reunited with my first high school sweetheart Shawn Weatherhead. We have been together ever since. We were married in 1997 and have 3 boys. Aaron 13, Anthony 8 and Josiah 15 months. Shawn also has three older children of his own. Bradley 20, Lily 19 and Shawna 16. I worked for almost a year in the bakery at Dean's country market. When my son Aaron was born, I decided to be a stay at home mom with some part time occasionally. I finally got to really do some art work between 1998-2007, when I did wood burning for 3 different log furniture makers. In 2004, we decided to start our own buisness; Little Bear Towing and Repair. Which is named after our oldest son Aaron, who we called Little bear. I also taught 2 years of summer rec art class to 6th-8th graders. I currently work part time at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, as the campaign Secretary. I often do volunteer work. One example; I had just finished painting a wall mural in the church nursery and will be starting another one, in the St. Paul's school hallway. I also play in the bell choir. I have to say; the most joy and fullfilling part of the past 20 years, is not what I've done or accomplished. It is having God and family in my life! Tammy Weatherhead

I am currently married for 9 yrs. We have 3 girls. The oldest being 11 and a set of twins age 7.
I own and operate my own floor covering business. My family and I have lived in Detroit Lakes for the past 7 years. I fill my free time (which there isn't a lot of!!) with hunting and fishing. |
