Brian and I were married in 1992, we have three wonderful boys, Brandon 14, Jacob 11 and Brett 5.

We moved from the cities to Perham in 1998 when Brian was offered a  job with Rural Cellular Corp. out of Alexandria, Mn.

After moving to Perham I retired my career of hairstylist and made the decision to stay home with my children. After Brandon and Jake both started school I decided it was a little quiet at home during the day with just Brett  , so I took the opportunity to open up a daycare in my  home. I truly enjoy it.  As a family we enjoy our 4 acre country home(which happens to be Mary(Doll) Ericksons home where she grew up.  The boys keep us very busy  between sports activities ,friends, and keeping up with good grades.

We are loving being back in our hometown area , close to family and friends, unfortunately I will not be here the weekend of our class reunion as we will be gone to the cities to catch a Twins Game and enjoy some family time.

Names and ages of children/grandchildren:
Chelsey 16, Macie 14, Amber 12, Cody 10
Family/Work/Personal Highlights:
I graduated from the U of M - Duluth in accounting, soon after received my CPA certificate.  I worked at a small engineering firm in Duluth for about a year then moved to what is now known as St. Mary's/Duluth Clinic health system.  I have been there ever since 92 and am currently the Director of Decision Support (Basically Finance/Accounting).   By the way... they asked me for my picture for the PHS website background but I declined and told them to put my Sister on it instead   :-).

I met my wife Tammy at UMD my freshman year, determined she would probably be able to put up with me and got her to marry me.  We now have 4 kids that are all terrific, Chelsey is a real sharpie in school (I know what you are thinking........ that trait must be from Tammy :-) )  she is driving already, scares the hell out of me as I remember how Me, Jim  T. and Marty F. used to drive, Mike M really did not drive badly at all but he was the only one picked up for it .  She also is really into all of her friends.  Chelsey is also a cancer survivor, she had ovarian cancer at age 11, was treated (horrifying 3 months) and is perfect today.  Macie is all about sports, Basket Ball, Softball, X-country and also does well in School.  Amber is also into Basket Ball and Volley Ball.  She is small in stature but very feisty on the court, she is also a good student.  Cody as well is very into sports, Baseball, Basket Ball, Soccer, and football he does well in school but oddly enough gets into trouble for talking too much in class (not sure where he would have gotten that trait :-))  We had 3 kids this past winter in traveling basketball leagues so it seems sports is about all there is time for these days(I love it though).  We even built a small indoor Basket ball court we are so darn into it.

With the small amount of time I do have outside of Family and sports, I spend Bow Hunting, fishing and golfing.
Remembrance of a favorite class, teacher, or PHS experience:
I remember walking across the stage floor to get my diploma and thinking, this really suchs, I am going to miss all of these people so much and all of the great times I had with them.    It is hard to pick only a few memories and not leave a bunch of great times out.  I think my favorite teacher was Mr. Ryer, even though it sounded like he almost killed Casey Kyte in the back room one time.  All of the time on the baseball field, our team was awesome and I really miss playing Hard Ball.    From time to time I end up driving through Perham and look over at 2b on the field and reminisce about the great times we had.  That is it about it for class, teachers and phs experience.  What I remember most is times with friends:  Riding pigs at Marty's house (probably the funniest day of my life), hunting and fishing and playing "hot box"  with Jim T and his family, double dates with Heidi E. Marty and Tammy C.   All of the lunch hours Marty and I were late coming back to school from.  I think I had over 100 tarties.  "Trying" to teach Kim Dryer how to drive a clutch car. :).   I think this was before HS but hanging out with Al and June Kaleweski at the store picnics.   Having the cops come pick up Mike, Marty and I while we were shooting silly string at each other, (no silly string is not against the law but Mike's fancy driving around an activities bus earlier that night apparently was).  Water skiing with Tracy Ackling and others at Little Mac.  Driving like the Dukes of hazard boys with Marty and Jim T. (if my kids read this do NOT do this, we almost died several times)....."Marty, how fast can your dad's car go before we get to that curve in the road by Brenda B's house".................. buried needle............. Curve approaching rapidly ............ "Mart, stop"............" my breaks don't work".......... "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAFFFFFFFFFFF" I still don't know how we did not end up parked  IN Brenda's house.  Getting Stuck in drifts of snow at the golf course then calling Mike M. at 3am to come get Marty and I out "Zut, do you have a shovel?"  and last but not least "Top Gun" volleyball at Marty and Gerks house.

Names and ages of children/grandchildren:
Tyler: Age 7 Nicholas: Age 5 Connor: Age 3

Family/Work/Personal Highlights:
I attended Moorhead State University (what’s it called now?) after high school. I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and worked for about 9 years in Corporate America. I accepted the marriage proposal from my husband Scott in 1993, despite his heritage at Frazee and his unusual last name. He’s so worth it! :>)

Then in 2000 my true career calling came and I decided to take on a whole new endeavor: child rearing. I took on domestic engineering when my son Tyler was born in 2000. Since then, my husband and I have added 2 other boys to our home, Nick and Connor (a red head).

Next I decided I just couldn’t get enough of my kids and chose to educate them myself at home. Tyler is currently embarking (with me) on 2nd Grade, Nick will begin Kindergarten and Connor is enjoying his little 3 year old life. You wouldn’t believe the things I’ve learned (I mean they’ve learned – ha ha)

Remembrance of a favorite class, teacher, or PHS experience:
The things I cherish most about high school (and life really) are the people. I think the best times for me were not the typical events (like Prom or homecoming etc.) but the times I enjoyed with various classmates. I remember Alesia Stowman getting me through Mr. Gunderson’s Chemistry class (and her kind and caring way of encouraging me in life). Kyle Dorow teaching me how to drive a car with a non-manual transmission. Riding over “tickle belly” hill in Al’s car –with Kathy, Lynn, Casey and Keith. Sure glad there weren’t cars coming from the other way! There were also teachers who really cared how I turned out and gave me a little “grace” when I screwed up– like Mr. Spenser did.

All the things I thought were so important back then are laughable now – I guess that’s part of maturity? I’m just happy to have had the pleasure of living and growing alongside such great people.
