What have I been up to? (how long do you have?- I'll try to keep it short!) After high school, I went to University of Minnesota-Morris for 3 years, then transferred to U of M- Twin Cities for 1 quarter- hated it! (too big).  Then I transferred out to South Dakota State for 1 semester- followed ex-fiancee' (we don't have enough time for that story).  Ran out of money after 4 years of school with no degree, so I went to work.  I worked at Bec-Lin Foods for 4 1/2 years where I met my wife, Susan Lex of New York Mills.  We were married on May 22, 1993, and then moved up to Grand Forks, ND where I got into sales by accident working for J. W. Perry wholesale flowers.  Since I was more into cars than flowers, Rich Richter told me about an opening at a dealership in Wadena, and the rest is history.  I moved to Mills GM in Baxter, MN in December of 1996 and have been there ever since.  I have worked my way up to top salesperson for them, so if you need a deal on a vehicle, stop in!  I like to spend my time with my wife and daughters reading, playing, and whatever silliness we can think up.  I still collect all types of music and read everything I can get my hands on.
Favorite Memories: Basketball at St. Hank's, hanging out with friends (you know who you are!), sports, working with the Archie's crew, cruising in the Valiant, Wally's history class, smokin' newspapers with Bill Schoeneberger in the fishhouse-do you still prefer Star Tribune brand?, Latin Weekend, Todd Schmidt's 'fro-I could go on, but you get the idea!  Hope to see you all there!  I'll be the tall fat guy with the big smile!

The fall immediately following graduation I got married. I had three children in the first 7 years. Amanda, Becky and Chelsea. I divorced after 9 years of marriage. I married Jim Baumgart in 1997 and had our daughter Emily. We live outside of Perham and my husband has his own electrical business. On the side we are in a partnership of building & selling homes. Over two years ago I started flying lessons and received my Private Pilots license 4 months later. Due to the fact that my husband and I do not like to give up the control of whom is driving or flying… he decided to take lessons of flying himself and received his licence 6 months later. We do not fly together… because of the “control thing” but will fly in separate planes side by side. Flying is truly the most exciting thing I have done since graduation. Our daughters keep us very busy and active. Never a dull moment in our household.
Remembrance of a favorite class, teacher, or PHS experience:
I loved High School years. So carefree. I’ll always remember the “5%” thing. The friends, the “sneaking out”, the leaving school for the day… because it was way to nice outside! The orange gremlin! The “sauna party Sundays”, Dawn and I rolling the car… those were the days as they say!!!

I can’t wait to see everyone at the reunion. It’s hard to believe that 20 years have past. Our lives have gone in different directions establishing our careers and families and hopefully we can get reacquainted and get together more then every 10 years!!

I think it would be a great idea to get together for mini reunions by just contacting through phone or email when you are in town… whom ever can attend great, if not, next time!

I graduated from NDSU in 1989 with a BS in Athletic Training and then my MS from UW-LaCrosse. My personal highlights have revolved around my career. I have travel all over the country with athletic teams. I have also travel to Italy, Sweden, Denmark and Austria with Basketball and Hockey teams. I have worked the Par-Olympic games in Atlanta and been part of 4 National Championships with a Div III Wrestling program. I have a cute little house near downtown Mpls. Over all work is fun , still looking for Mr. Right and my dog is my best friend!!
