Hello All. This little re-cap is much harder to write than I thought, but I’ll give it the ole college try and hit the highlights. After graduation I attended MSU, majoring in accounting and international business. I seem to remember I had plans to travel and to live wherever the job took me. Life has a funny way of changing things though. I met my husband my junior year of college and we were married three years later in 1990. In 1991 we had our first daughter, Kelsey. In 1992 we moved to Pelican Rapids, where Darren started an insurance partnership and I was employed at the local bank in audit and accounting. In 1995 our second daughter, Rachel, was born. And in 1999 we had our third daughter, Camryn. In between all that time we bought, built and sold a few homes, sold out of the insurance partnership, and the bank I was working at was sold twice. In the end I was traveling for work and possibly looking at a transfer to Minneapolis or Sioux Falls and suddenly living for the job didn’t seem all that fun anymore. I went back to school in 2000, completed my teaching certification and have been teaching business at Fergus Falls High School ever since. Darren has worked for Farm Credit Services in Fergus Falls for the past 6 years and now we are looking at moving to Fergus within the next year.
