I graduated from Staples Tech in 1980. Started working at Perham Creamery shortly after at the fertilizer plant and in the off season drove milk truck til 1990.
It was time for a change, I went to work for Aid Association for Lutherans and moved my family to Long Prairie MN. In 2000 AAL went thru a merger and I decided to leave and go on my own starting "Jeff Berg Financial", doing financial planning with people in MN and ND.
In Oct. of 1982 I married my wife Nancy, who worked at the Perham Egg Plant til we moved to Long Prairie where she has did child care in our home since we moved here, she has on average 12 children a day, nothing like holding a child when their happy and when they have had enough of me it is time for me to exit to my office.
Both of our children are going to the University of Mary in Bismarck ND. Our son Casey is working on his doctrine for Physical Therapy with a minor in psychology. Our daughter is going for Accounting, I know without a doubt they have their mother's school habits! One thing nice about them being this far away allows for me to meet them to go Pheasant hunting in ND a few times in the fall.
I still love to fish which has given me some great opportunities to fish the PWT, do a few shows with BJ Outdoors, and to meet a lot of people. A friend and I started Todd County 4-H Shooting Sports 6 yrs. ago which I am still active in.
God has blessed me in so many way but most of all he blessed me with a
great wife and 2 great children.

Still a full time wife and mother. Employed at Otter Tail County for 29 years...retirement possible in 6 short years! On August 4 Jeff and I will celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary and we are looking forward to the birth of our first grandson in mid July and all the excitement babies bring.
I have become "grandma" since my posting. Braedyn Isaac was born Wednesday 7/23/08. So starts a new phase of life!

I started out working odd jobs until I started working at Homecrest in Wadena MN. I worked there for 20 years. I lost my job 3 years ago due to foreign trade. I now teach round dance and have taught a few quilting classes. I have traveled to Germany, Austria, Turkey, Greece and around the states. Traveling now is not as much fun as it was since 911. My husband works as a sales consultant at Thielen Motors in Park Rapids. We are active in church and other organizations to which we belong. It's hard to believe that 30 years have gone by; I don't think of myselfbeing that old.

Work and Family: After getting my teaching credential from Moorhead State (now Uof M at Moorhead) I moved to Florida. I've been teaching in St. Pete for 25 years. I married a wonderful man 18 years ago. After completing our masters' degrees at University of South Florida and doctorates at University of Southern Mississippi, we returned to St. Pete and had Sean who is 9 and the light of our lives. Bruce is a professor at St. Petersburg College in the Education Dept. I've stayed with the school system so I could have more time to be a mom. I spend my time being a chess mom. Who knew there was a whole world of competitive chess out there??? We love to travel. We were in New York for spring break and we're off to Alaska in July.
